Our line of indoor/outdoor folding screens now brings the serene beauty of our patterned lattice to anywhere in your home. Available in eight patterns, the three panel screens can be easily moved to provide a backdrop for containers, a privacy or shade barrier, or simply as a visual divider for small spaces. Built for the outdoors, the screens also make a wonderful interior design element.
We build our screens to withstand the outdoor elements in the garden with half laps, mortises, and hardwood dowels to secure the 100+ of parts in the screen. In the arts and crafts tradition of exposed joinery, all of the joinery is functional as well as decorative. With a full 1 1/2" depth, the screens have a sculptural quality that is enhanced by interplay of light and shadows.
Hinges are made from solid brass, and can "lift-off" for ease of moveability. The screen comes finished with exterior grade clear oil.
